Robert Entrekin, our owner, grew up buying and selling automobiles in the 70's & 80's with his family. When the cars would come back from the detail shop Robert would get them ready for the auction house dyeing carpets, buffing paint and most anything else that would make his cars stand out above all the others. With that experience Robert developed an eye for prepping a car for a dealers front line. In the mid 80's Robert and wife Lynn relocated to Florida and started their Recon Business relying on Robert's eye and determination to show Florida Dealers what a front line ready car should look like. Over the next few years their business grew to 4 service trucks working over 40 dealers from West Palm Beach to Ft Lauderdale. Their success and reputation lead them to expanded into restaurants, home furnishings and Fleet work.
In the early 90's, because of a family illness, they relocated to their childhood home in North Alabama and started their recon business from scratch. It was challenging, but again Robert's keen eye and years of experience made Finishing Touch a name that is depended on locally for his service.
In the late 90's the Entrekins saw the need for product distribtion and took on a well know line but after a few years started developing their on products. Because of his passion for helping other business owners Robert started sharing his skills and found his niche in this market. He has traveled all over the US training groups up to 30 students at a time and people have traveled from as far as Norway to learn his unique techniques. Robert's techniques and product development has made him an industry leader and his training strategy is different than most, but it produces great results and successful business owners.
